Company History

Beecher Networks was founded by Adam Beecher in 1997, and incorporated in 2006.

  • 1997 – After a year of research and training, Adam develops his first website for O’Mahony Packaging.
  • 1998 – Graphic designer Gary Edmunds joins, bringing professional graphic design to the company.
  • 1999 – Their first major production, a website for Cork City Football Club, is released.
  • 2000 – Basic web hosting services are added to the company portfolio.
  • 2001 – Having outgrown shared hosting solutions, we move to our first dedicated server, in the US.
  • 2002 – The company becomes an OpenSRS reseller for domain names.
  • 2003 – Granted reseller status by the IE Domain Registry.
  • 2004 – Services transfer to our first Irish server, in Cork city.
  • 2005 – Web hosting services now provisioned via Parallels Plesk Panel.
  • 2006 – Adam starts work on the CIX data centre with Jerry Sweeney, Sascha Luck and Tom Raftery.
  • 2007 – All services are transferred to our rack in CIX.
  • 2008 – Colocation services added to our portfolio.
  • 2009 – Our new website and billing system are released.
